About our school

Welcome to the website of the Primary School at Cihelni Street. You can find there useful information, documents and pictures of the school.
The primary school is a contributory organization founded by Bruntal town. School buildings underwent extensive renovation in 2019.
The primary school consists of all grades of the first and second grade including the preparatory class. School club and a school canteen are also part of our school.
Our aim is to use modern methods in acquiring knowledge and skills, think independently, communicate and cooperate and to be respectful to themselves and other people.
We use an interactive communication tools like School Online, Microsoft Teams, etc.
We emphasize ITC skills which pupils can use in any other lessons when working with tablets and laptops.
A part of our school is also a music classroom. It’s used for music lessons as well as for our school choir, whose members have achieved excellent results in competitions.
Pupils of our school have also represented the school in other competitions and sport activities.
There are two gyms, an athletic field, a football pitch, a traffic safety field outside of the school. We have these special classroms: Art studio, Training kitchen, Craft classroom, classroms for Science, Physics, Geography and foreing languages. Pupils can go to the school library.
School atrium and school garden are used for education and relaxation.
Our school gives opportunity to choose between after school activities led by externals or teachers of our school.
Pupils can take part in creating our school magazine which help them in developing their mother tongue, cooperation. Our school magazine is called Cihlacek.
We cooperate with the Bruntál Sports Club, (nechala bych MŠ) Kindergarten U Rybníka, high schools - SPŠ and OA Bruntál, SOŠ Bruntál and the private ZUŠ Krnov.
Relationship of class groups are strengthened in the adaptation camps and in programs organized by cooperating organizations (Low-threshold facility Open House o. P. S., LAG Hrubý Jeseník).
